Having Your First Video Game Party

video game party

We all know how video games can be when it comes to keeping ourselves more physically active than usual, especially when we play sports games on a Nintendo Wii. We also know how video games can be when it comes to keeping ourselves more mentally active than usual, especially when we play strategy games on a Sony PlayStation. We even know how video games can be when it comes to keeping ourselves more socially active than usual, especially when we play simulation games on a Microsoft Xbox.

So, what’s stopping you from having your first video game party?

You see, especially in a city like Portland where books and movies are practically deemed enough to make up for its own entertainment scene, having your first video game party will certainly be something everyone in the city can remember for a very long time. Not also will it only promote friendships between locals and even tourists who may stop by while they are visiting the said lovely town, but also promote health and fitness in a social way like never before.

And you know what?

You don’t even need to set up that much inside your house or even a bigger venue like within your backyard. You only need to have a bunch of a few things: video game consoles such as Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360; video game controllers such as remotes for Nintendo Wii, handhelds for PlayStation 4, and sensors for Xbox 360; and last but not the least – plenty of chips and plenty more of beer!

And you know what?

You will always remember how it’s like to have your first party in a physically active way. You will also always remember how it’s like to have your first party in a mentally active way. You will even always remember how it’s like to have your first party in a socially active way. Because that’s what video games are truly for: to promote health, to improve fitness, and to enhance socialness – just by making people do what they love to do as much as possible: idling.

And you know what?

It works. All works. Every single time.

How about you?
